The people who gathered here have rescued her with great difficulty and shifted her to the hospital for treatment.
A tractor in Surat city’s Althan-Bhattar area ran over a woman who was busy on her phone while reversing. It is said that the tractor had brought soil work to a construction site here. The woman was standing in the middle of the road outside the construction site, busy on her phone, when the tractor driver started reversing the tractor without looking back. The woman fell directly under the tractor’s tires.
The woman has sustained serious injuries. Locals rushed to the spot and the injured woman was rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment. The tractor driver fled the scene. CCTV footage of the entire incident has gone viral on social media. Based on this footage, the police have registered a case and are searching for the absconding tractor driver.
